Master Cleanse - Day 4

master cleanse book

The day went by without any problems. I will say that as the days continue on it is getting harder not to eat. I'm not sure thought if it was because my husband was around and we ran errands and ended up at the Mall and McDonald's with the boys for lunch. I brought my lemonade with me and I got through lunch fine. I could have gotten some fruit, but again I am really trying to hold out as long as possible. The master cleanse is really starting to work. My energy level hasn't been as bad as I thought I would be. I really thought I would be alot more tired or lethargic. So all and all things are going very good.

Master Cleanse - Day 3

master cleanse book

Today has been a pretty good day, nothing of note happened. Although it does get harder to fight the urges. I really haven't been hungry, so it's just when I start pulling out food for the boys that I start to feel a twinge of desire for food. You see I love to eat and I eat for multiple reasons. I guess I should add that to my list or what I hope to accomplish with this cleanse, I don't have to eat just because I'm stressed, angry, tired, bored - just eat when I am hungry.
No major aches or pains today. Today is a good day.
After I have completed this cleanse, I will share my secrets .... stay tuned.

Definitly, Maybe

5 minutes for mom is having a contest. I am going to enter and you should too.

In honor of the June 24 DVD release of Definitely, Maybe, Universal Studios Home Entertainment wants to hear your proposal stories.

Here is our engagement story. Well our story is like a fairytale. My husband and I actually met when I was in 8th grade, yep that's correct. The problem was that he was 17 turning 18. We "dated" for only a few short months, but did our best to keep up our friendship. Over the years he would drop by and leave cards in the mailbox, at one point he actually came and met my mom and step father. But nothing really progressed until I decided to move away my senior year, to live with my father in TX. We both realized that we missed one another.

For Spring Break that year he flew me back to IL for the week and we hung out and decided that once I graduated he would come and get me in TX and I would come back to IL for a trial "visit". By the time that "visit" was over, he didn't want me to leave.

For my 18th birthday he took me to Lilaca Park in Lombard, IL on the way to meet his parents for dinner (his mother has the same birthday as I do). We walked through the park and we stopped at a park bench where he gave me his "present". The "present" was jewelry box, the funny part was I already had the same jewelry box so I was somewhat disappointed until I was asked the open the jewelry box and inside was my engagement ring. It was very romantic to me. Although he didn't get on one knee, we were dressed up and it was muddy, it was the best. We have been married for 15 years.

You can go to the Definitely, Maybe site and print a $5 off coupon.

Check out the contest at 5 minutes for mom and don't forget to enter.

The winner will receive a prize pack containing three romantic DVDs from Universal Studios: Definitely, Maybe; Love, Actually; and Notting Hill.

Master Cleanse - Day 2

master cleanse book

I have not completed the second day of my master cleanse. We had a very ruff start to the day, which started last night, but the day is ending better. That minor headache that I had yesterday bothered me all night long, I kept tossing and turning through the night due to the headache. It continued on into the morning, it wasn't terrible but it was bothersome. Along with that came a much more present upset stomach, I didn't get sick at all, but I just didn't feel good. (As a side note, I went to be later than I should and was only in bed for 6 hours.) I kinda just hung out with the boys and let them play. Finally I rested on the couch for about 30 min (the boys got a "dollar" for letting me rest) and then forced myself to take a nice hot shower. The shower felt good and made me ready for the day. We had some errands to run and as the day went on I started feeling better. I have not had much hunger pains, I generally eat all the time so this is quite surprising. I have decided that my easing into the cleanse is done, and I am just going with it. All and all it really is going well. It does get hard at times seeing as how I still have to feed my family, and I just can't empty all the food out of the house. My will is going strong and so is my cleanse. You are "allowed" to eat Fresh fruit and veg, but I am going to try and hold out until I am really desperate. I bought some frozen stuff, so that I have it if needed.

New Puppy

Yesterday (Sunday) we finally found our forever dog. We have been without a dog for over 2 years now, our last dog passed right before my second son was born. We then decided to wait till the baby was a little older and less time consuming before adding to the family again. We have been looking for a dog on and off for over a year. We were dedicated to adopting a dog, instead of going through a breeder this time and everytime we found a dog we liked it would get adopted before we got a chance to see it. We went and meet a few dogs at a shelter once, but it didn't work out.
Finally last week my husband found a dog on petfinder.com and we put the call in, it was a little touch and go but it all worked out and we went to look at the little guy yesterday.
At first the boys were not happy and the hour drive was going to be a total loss, but after fully waking up and being around the dog for awhile they were fine and happy. So we have decided to adopt this "little" guy - he is said to be 1/2 sheppard and 1/2 great dane. He is a real cuttie and well behaved for a 3 month old? puppy.
The only sad part is he wasn't ready to come home. They weren't able to fix him yet, so hopefully he will be ready next weekend, and the foster parents are going to bring the puppy to us.
So this all brings me to thinking about all the terrible stories there has been on the news about dog food and the things that get put in it. Have you read the secret truth about dog food report?
You receive dog food recipes with the report, I will not have to pull that back out and make sure that we feed our new addition to the family right so that he will be with us for a long time.

I also found a free secret report on dog training that I will be rereading and following. You can never prepare too much.

Master Cleanse - Day 1

master cleanse book

I have officially started my Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet.
So far things are going good. Started my day with a Sea Salt Laxative and made a days worth of the Lemonade drink at once, so I don't have to keep making it all day. I have to be a little careful because I did get quite a few seeds in my drink. I have had 2 or 3 glasses of this, the glass that I am drinking out of is bigger than the "serving", but as long as I finish by the end of the day I know I'm okay. I have had the same "large" serving of water, need to get some more in.
So far everything is going fine, just a slight queasy stomach. The rest of the day went fine. Although I don't much care for the cayanne pepper, otherwise the Master Cleanse would be no problem for me. I have had a very minor headache this afternoon, but nothing unbearable.
I have to say, I am doing the 3 day ease into the Master Cleanse, so I do get to eat dinner tonight, yes that's right it is 10:43 and I still haven't had dinner, my hubby is just now on his way home from work.
All and all day one went better than expceted.

Life and the pursuit of cleaning

So it is Friday and I have a million things to do and not much time to do it. We are suppose to be going to the Elmhurst, IL Relay For Life, but now the weather is not looking so great again and I can't take two young boys out in the rain. I guess we just get ready and see what happens, it's a 45 minute drive I don't plan on leaving for an hour so it could be over or blow over. Who knows.
I did accomplish getting my office cleaned up this am. That always makes me feel better. I am generally an very neat and organized person but lately life has been getting in the way of that. I need to get more binders, sheet protectors, ink and paper. But everything has a place right now and that is good. I planned on getting some other cleaning done today also, but my computer gave me some problems and that ate up abunch of my time. Oh yay I made 1 sale yesterday. I know most of you guys are celebrating monthly checks, but I am still celebrating sale by sale. This is happy, yet sad.
I have a long list of items that need attention, autoresponders, website, wonderful web giveaway, blogging and I could list many more, but we all get the idea. Well I did get a blog post in!!!! You have to celebrate the little things.

Money might just be a click away

If you already spend a fair amount of time blogging, money may come to you literally as soon as you ask for it. Once you have an established blog with a regular readership, it is easy to turn a profit through advertising. By hosting sponsored links or banners, you can see income from your hobby almost overnight. Even if you did not start your blog intending to turn a profit, making supplementary income from your blog may be easier than you think.

Of course, even for people who have spent months or years blogging, money from advertising revenue may not add up to a large sum. The amount of money that you can make as a blogger depends on a lot of different factors, but perhaps the most important element of the equation is the topic of your blog. If your blog is on a subject that appeals to a demographic that advertisers have a strong desire to reach, you will be more likely to be able to turn a large profit on your blog than if your blog is on a fairly obscure subject that does not draw the kind of audience that advertisers need to appeal to. Of course, the only way to find out where you fall on this spectrum is to try hosting some ads. If you are already blogging, you have nothing to lose.

As great resource for making money with a blog is Blogging to the Bank 2.0

One guy who uses blogging to his advantage is Rob Benwell. Last year he dished the dirt on the tips and tricks to making a fortune using blogging. But as time passes the old systems become obsolete and new techniques are required. This is where his brand new, fresh off the press blogging to the bank 2 system comes into play.

For those who don't know Rob Benwell, he's the story:
Back in 2005 he was struggleing to make any profit online, had dropped out of college and was getting deep into debt. He was trying all the techniques the gurus tell you and wasn't getting anywhere fast. All of that went in the bin and he started using his own techniques and started making more and more money using simple blogs. In early 2006 he shared this with the world and had a great ebook called blogging to the bank. Tons of people got rich from using these techniques. He then spoke at Online Marketing Legend Yanik Silver's underground Seminar where he revealed even more of his underground strategies.

But as I said earlier, the techniques used in that ebook are now showing there age. Some of them are not even working in the slightest! This is where blogging to the bank 2 comes into play.

It's full of great new techniques that work online right now! Everything's explained in plain English with all the fluff cut out.

Blogging To The Bank 2 teaches you Robs new step by step blueprint to creating highly profitable long term niche blogs using the newest optimization techniques. There's even a section on advanced Search Engine Optimization. Most people think SEO is difficult but Rob explains this nice and simply so even the blogging newbie will understand it.

Blogging To The Bank 2 is a breath of fresh air and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make easy money online. Click below for more information about this system

Secrets Wednesday

Thats right it's Wednesday again. Time to share a secret tip or idea that has helped you whether personally or professionally.

Today is just a simple one: Instead of having a big fancy diaper pail, we save plastic bags from shopping, newspaper delivery, today I even saved the bag our sandwiches came in. Now the trick is to twist the bag and continue to wrap the rest of the bag around the diaper, twist and do it again and again (depending on the size of the bag you are using). Most people just tie it and toss it. If you use my secret it's the equivalent of putting 2 or 3 bags around the diaper.

Master Cleanse Secrets - Step 2

master cleanse book

So as we continue on in my Master Cleanse Secret Adventure another day has come upon us and I proceed to step 2. As I have stated I did do a different cleanse many years ago and was happy with the results and when thinking back, I do believe it was after this cleanse that I was able to go off sweets and look better than I had for quite sometime.

First things first set a start date Monday 6/23/2008. I wanted to start sooner, but we are having company over the weekend and I might want a drink or two.

Second pick the length you want to do the Master Cleanse.
I plan on doing the whole 10 days, it will actually be 13 as I will do the 3 day easy in preparation.

Third I am suppose to start (very honestly) listing the reasons why I want to finish the Master Cleanse.
Yes my first goal is the weight loss, I know some will come back, but it's a starting point
I would love to cut back on the sweets and avoid the sugar highs and lows I experience
I just want to feel like I am doing something to better my health
As sense of accomplishment

Fourth I am suppose to start (very honestly) listing how not finishing the Master Cleanse will have negative effects on my life.
If I don't finish it I will feel like a failure
I won't lose the weight I have been trying to take off since January
I won't get a new dress for the wedding (that is my present to myself when I'm done)

I will keep adding to the list, Friday I will most likely go shopping for my ingredients, I should be able to find the items at Trader Joes (my local Jewel didn't seem to have the maple syrup).

Master Cleanse Secrets - Step 1

master cleanse book

Yes I am trying to get back on track in all aspects of my life, including getting healthier and dropping weight. My short term goal is to lose weight for a wedding we have in August.
So the first step in the process is to read the ebook Master Cleanse Secrets.
It was packed with tons of information and helpful hints on doing and completing the Master Cleanse. It also comes with a commitment/signature sheet and journal sheets for the cleanse.
I will say much of the information is repeated many times in the book and it could be shorter, but all the information given is excellent and very useful. All the secret tips to finish the program are beneficial and there is also information on doing a mini-cleanse alternative if you just can't do a full cleanse.

I can't wait to get started. I will journal my adventure through the master cleanse and the effects and benefits that I come across along the way.

Picked this up from reading Alyssa's blog Life from my Laptop. Just something fun to start out my Tuesday. Not too bad, the test said so, if I lived in the 1930's. Someone needs to do one for the 2000's.

Schedules - Family

So here we are we have started another week and I am ready to start a new. Everyday I deal with the tough balance between family and WAH. I tend to put too much pressure on myself to start making money and so I spend too much time working and not enough time with the kids.
I have been making a concerted effort to spend more time with the boys and "schedule" my work time.
Work Schedule - I have been trying to keep to my schedule, but I am still very behind on my emails, surveys and paid to read stuff.
Family Schedule - It has always bugged me that the boys usually never got dressed before lunch/nap time, unless we had somewhere to go. Today we started something new, after breakfast we go brush our teeth and get dressed. Hopefully that will get our day started earlier and make me feel like a better mom.
We are signed up to do a music class all together this summer. That should be some great quality time for us.
Lately I have been very hard on myself, I put all these hours into my blog, website and all that goes with it. Yet I haven't made any money. Why? What am I doing wrong? How do I fix it?
I have added article submission to my list of things to do, this should help me. I guess at the end of the day what I decided is
I am not a bad mother
I am not a loser
I am not lazy
I am not stupid
I am not stuck here

I will make it online
I will find my place
I will be a better person for this
I will make money
I am dedicated
I am a great mother
I am a great wife
Just doing a little affirmation today. I have been having some hard weeks and getting FRUSTRATED.

Father's Day

To any and all the wonderful dad's out there, Happy Father's Day.
Father's day is a little hard for me, my dad lives in TX and we are here in IL. My Father-in-Law passed a few years back. Although having little ones of my own, I can now focus on their father (my husband) and let him enjoy his day.

Article Marketing Secrets- Conclusion

Monday we discussed Article Marketing - Articles
Tuesday we discussed Article Marketing - Submitting
What's left? The Misc stuff

Let others use your articles, along with your byline which will tell visitors who wrote it and how they can contact you, on their website. This will help to promote your own website and bring you in traffic through the search engine optimization and promotional efforts of others. For you this means absolutely free marketing just for writing a quick article about a subject that you are already familiar with. The more people who use your article as content on their website, the more potential traffic you will receive.

One way of promoting your website and product can be achieved for free. As an additional bonus, this “free” method can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income. Articles. One of the easiest ways to promote your website in order to generate traffic and increase your earnings.

How can article writing boost traffic and income?

The article on the free content site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having them on the free content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site.

If they do, your article will include a link back to your site. And anyone who reads the article on that site can still click on the link to visit your site.

As the list of your published articles grow larger, and more and more of them are appearing on different websites, the total number of links to your site increases also. Major search engines are placing a lot of significance on incoming links to websites so they can determine the importance of a certain site.

The more incoming links the website has, the more importance search engines attach to it. This will then increase your website’s placement in the search results.

If you site is into promoting a product or service, the links that your articles have achieved will mean more potential customers for you. Even if visitors only browse through, you never know if they might be in need of what you are offering in the future.

There are also those who already have specific things they need on their mind but cannot decide yet between the many choices online. Chances are, they may stumble upon one of your articles, gets interested by the contents you wrote, go to your site and became enticed by your promotions. See how easy that is?

Search engines do not just index the websites, they also index published articles. They also index any article that is written about your own website’s topic. So once someone searches for that same topic, the list of results will have your site or may even show the articles that you have written.

And to think, no effort on your part was used to bring them to your site. Just your published articles and the search engines.

It is no wonder why many webmasters are suddenly reviving their old writing styles and taking time to write more articles about their site than doing other means of promotion.

Getting their site known is easier if they have articles increasing their links and traffic and making it accessible for visitors searching the internet. Since many people are now taking their buying needs online, having your site on the search engines through your articles is one way of letting them know about you and your business.

The good thing with articles is that you can write about things that people would want to know about. This can be achieved in the lightest mood but professional manner, with a little not-so-obvious sales pitch added.

If you think about it, only a few minutes of your time is spent on writing one article and submitting to free content site. In the shortest span of time also, those are distributed to more sites than you can think of. Even before you know what is happening, you are getting more visitors than you previously had.

I still have some cough/cold medicine left from the last time I took him to the doctor, if that doesn't help I will have to take him to our regular doctor and see what we can do for him. So the only one not sick is my older son, but he gets a little drip here and there.

Article Marketing Secrets - submitting

Today we move on to the next step in Article Marketing - Article submission secrets

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may not use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting off of the traffic that they get on their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your bet best is to put a copy of each of your articles on a selection of your choosing for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

The secrets to article submission and the options:

1. You can search article directories and go to each site and fill out the forms and register and manually send articles to each site. You will need to maintain a password for all of your directories and don't forget to bookmark them all.

2. You will find companies that will do article submissions for you
for a price.

3. You will find companies that will give you a comprehensive list of article submission sites and/or article distribution lists.

3. You can purchase programs that will do this for you.
Article Submitter is the best of both worlds - you can start out with the free version (which submits to 85 sites), or you can upgrade to 688 sites for $97.

Some additional tips

1. If the goal of your article is to drive traffic to your site then have 2 or 3 active links in your resource box.
2.
If the goal of your article is to build your opt-in list then have 1 active link in your resource box.

Article Marketing Secrets - Articles

I have come to the unfortunate realization that I need to start getting
some articles submitted. What does that mean, what do I do, and how do
I do it. This is the secret that I would like to delve into this week. I have search around and tried to uncover the secrets to this art or article marketing.
Making money with articles can be fairly easy for anyone. If you are a quick learner and great reader, then you can learn everything you need to know right from the Internet without any previous training needed. This is probably the best fact about niche website Internet marketing. If you are new to the business, your best bet is to ease into it.
The secret to article marketing is the articles and your options:
  1. Create your own great articles
When writing articles, make sure to keep your readers in mind. Studies have shown that most Internet readers tend to scan a page to find the information they are looking for, rather than reading the entire page. This means having good titles, a lot of subtitles, and making use of bullet points to help your readers easily scan your page. Readers prefer a site like this that is easy to use and will be more willing to come back to your articles time and time again. 1. You will need to know how to pick out the correct articles, they should relate in some way to your niche. 2. You will need to know how to choose keywords that can help you get a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or second page. If you choose highly competitive keywords that are used by large, mammoth website, you are likely to never get up to those much needed first two pages. 3. You will need to know how to optimize your articles for various search engines. Search engine optimization skills will allow you to get high rankings for your chosen niche keywords, which will help to get your articles read. 4. When writing an article, make sure that it's an optimal length for search engine optimization efforts. Articles that are as short as 200 words or as long as 500 words should fit into this category. Even if search engine optimization is not your goal, it is still a good idea to keep your articles at this length for your reader’s sake. If you have to break up your article into different topics (which is what I will be doing here). 2. Hire someone to do it for you

If you cannot or do not wish to write your articles yourself, you can search different outsourcing companies to find a freelance writer to help you grow your business and your website. These freelancers will ghost write articles for you which means that you will own all copyrights to the material that is produced to do with what you want. Freelance writers have a talent for writing, however, they would rather make quick money off of writing for others, rather than taking the time to build a niche website that will need to be heavily marketed and promoted to begin earning revenue. They are usually not marketers, but rather people who have a gift for the written word. Finding the right freelance writer to produce your revenue generating articles can take a bit of time, however, if you find one that can easily take on another regular client and the two of you work well together, then that one difficult search will turn into a lot of profitable articles. When you start your search, you may want to begin with a very small group of articles, just in case you happen too hook up with a writer that you are less than thrilled with. It is important to keep in mind that there are several different types of writing and each writer might be highly skilled in one area, yet lack in another. For example, there is creative/fiction writing, biographical writing, news writing, general informational article writing, critical writing, copy-writing, poem/verse writing, technical writing, medical writing, essay/report writing, and sports writing. Although a writer may be highly skilled in one area, many freelance writers spread themselves out into others areas as well. So, it is critical that the writer you choose can produce the type of content that you need.
3. Purchase an article writing program.
Why settle for private label rights articles being used by hundreds of other people when you can easily create your own unique articles? Having trouble creating unique high-quality content for your web sites? Need more content but
tired of spending hours and hours researching each article that you write? Well STOP that manual
article research and look into an article writing program. (This is the option that I am most considering, just to write this article took me 1hour.)

Give me Five

Give me 5 tips or tricks for keeping your house clean and clutter-free.

1. We (the boys) have to clean up their toys before moving on to another play area.

2. I go through the junk once per week on the stuff that is visible and once per month in the junk drawer, if it's still there you probably don't need it.

3. I vacuum daily, it beats sweeping 10x per day.

4. Bins, containers, ect and lots of them.

5. I am big on throwing things out, if you don't need it or want it get ride of it. Just not anything tax or business related keep that stuff forever. Unless it's clothes I seem to hold on to those forever. (I will fit in them again, haha).

Filsaime Releases The 7 Figure Secrets And Gives it Away Free!

This was recommended by one of my mentors. I just received my free report and have read it several times already. Now I am a little late getting on board with this so you might need to act fast, last I checked there was a few left.Mike has such great information I just had to pass this along. There are upsells, of course, and most of them are very great offers, but just getting the free report is great.
Here is some background information about why he is giving it away for free.

Back in February of 2007, Mike Filsaime held a secret Private Workshop at an
undisclosed location.
Over 100 people paid $5000 for the Workshop.

He then took those DVD's (Which now sell for $1297) and sold it out in record
fashion in under 7 days to 2500 people. Since then... over 3000 people have paid
for that information.
The success stories that followed have changed the face of Internet Marketing.

(Filsaime, along with his 37 Staff Members, will do $10,000,000 this year in
sales and is credited with showing other marketers how to grow a 7 figure
Business.)
BIG DEAL!

Big Deal?

Recently, Mike hired a "TOP GUN" Internet Marketing Expert and Copywriter (That
also attended the event.)
Mike Paid this "TOP GUN" $25,000 to watch all 16 DVD's of "The 7 Figure Code" and
condense it into a Masterpiece...

THE RESULT...

An 85 Page report, no fluff, with all of the Gold nuggets, Pearls of Wisdom, and
action plans for you to get in a 1 hours' read.

That's right, what 100 people paid $5000 for, and had to sit through 3 days, you
will get all of the information crammed into 1 report that you can read in 1
sitting.

=============================================

NOW HERE IS THE INSANE PART - IT's FREE

=============================================
That is right, Mike Filsaime was going to sell it for $297.00 and was planning
on selling 3000 copies in 7 days.
They are already printed, spiral bound, and sitting at the warehouse ready to
ship.
But Mike has decided to ship it to you for...
*** Free *** (Only While supplies Last.)
All Mike Asks is that you pay the shipping (about $8 or so)
That is it. You do NOT have to buy it. You simply tell him where to ship it and
he will send it to you for... nothing, zip, nada!
But... IT GET'S EVEN BETTER...
>>> Mike was going to upsell the 18 Full Color Process Maps. ($197 Value)
Mike hired the best Internet Marketing experts on Process Mapping, Rich
Schefrens' Strategic Profits, to produce these process maps based on each DVD...
18 in all.
Mike has decided to move the FREELINE even further and give you access to these
for Free too (also VERY limited time)
And to prove that Mike has lost his mind (and has clearly landed on the North
Pole of Mars,) he is also giving you is best selling
"The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript 2.0" ($97 Value) for Free as well! (I have started to read this too.)
So here is a RECAP of what you get Free

- The 7 Figure Secrets Printed and Shipped to you Door
- The 18 Full Color Process Maps
- The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript Version 2.0

Limited Time and ONLY while supplies last...

So, if you want to GET your hands on The 7 Figure Secrets, go
NOW to: Click Here

You have the back ground now here is the reason:

By joining, you will receive a membership of his new
color-printed, mail magazine which costs $29.95/month after the
first trial month.

AH! OK, so this makes a little more sense!
So I asked:
"How hard will it be to cancel if I don't want the magazine
anymore?"

They replied that the cancellation process will be very
simple, well documented, and supported by a full time call
center. You many cancel anytime.

"Why are you doing this?" - I asked...

They replied that they are trying to build their client
base for the magazine fast to create some legitimacy for
the future. The 7 Figure Secretes and Butterfly Marketing
Transcript give-away is temporary and only for the launch.

If you are still interested. What I did was write down the CS number to make sure I have it, just in case I don't care for the magazine trial.

Are you still interested, it really is a great offer.

Blogging and promoting it with Web 2.0 marketing, one beginner’s discovery.

Blogging and promoting it with Web 2.0 marketing, one beginner’s discovery.

It’s all over the internet you can quickly start making money on the internet, just start a blog. Now you can’t just blog about anything and expect it to get read, get subscribers or make money. You need to pick a topic and a niche within that topic and give it a catchy (memorable) blog name. So you go to blogger.com, cause we want to start out with the least amount of expenses as possible (free is good), to register and get started.

Now you need do some blog postings. Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. To send your message across you have to get the attention of the reader and have a firm grasp of their interest and pique their curiosity.

The main ingredient in baking up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come natural to many people, some others have to work a little harder. Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. The way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article. You can get help with article writing Click Here!

So now you’ve started and are on your way, do you just sit back and let SEO do its work? I wouldn’t.

So where do we go next, how to we get people to our blog? Now is the time to start integrating some Web 2.0 Marketing.

It is finally starting to click with me, what needs to be done and the steps that need to be taken.

Step One:
1. Have you set up/picked the social networks you would like to work with. There are many to choose from and to try and participate in them all would be time consuming. So I recommend you pick a few (include at least one of the top web 2.0 networks and social networks (digg, mixx, stumbleupon, twitter, myspace, facebook and many others) and go from there.

2. Write the best article you can muster, no direct sales pitches here, on whatever topic relates to your blogging world, post it and then we start having some fun.

3. Submit your article to Digg, Mixx, stumbleupon or whatever platforms you have chosen.

4. Let people know you have posted to your blog through twitter, myspace, facebook whatever social networks you have decided to use.

5. Repeat steps 1 thru 4…….

In the end it all comes down to the friend of a friend of a friend theory. Well go with 90% of your subscribers, readers and ultimately your customers at some point were referred or found you through your “friend” network and if they stay you are bound to get more of those referrals.

Let’s get out there and make some FRIENDS.

Share your secret Wednesday

First off I would like to apologize about missing last weeks share your secret Wednesday. I had it all typed up and thought I had published but somehow not only did it not publish, but it disappeared. So here we are to today.
Share you secret Wednesday:
Do you have a secret tip, idea or trick that you use in your business or at home that you would like to share. Share it here.
I am new to this WAHM business, but one secret that I am learning along the way is to schedule. One thing that I am trying to implement are to divide up my online work over the course of the week. I can't do it all on one day or all everyday for that matter. So I have set certain days of the week for certain projects.
Example:
  • Monday - focus on blog, maybe make an outline of topics for the week and start working on the blogs

  • Tuesday - investigate products and information for my website

  • Wednesday - work on website layout, add new information/products, start working on email/newsletters

  • Thursday - work on survey and other misc money makers

  • Friday - work on sample requests and email cleanup, updates in social networks

  • Saturday - minimun - if I keep to my schedule

  • Sunday - take a whole day off - well I am a little addicted so this might never happen.
Whats your secret?

Link Exchange

One thing that was recommended to me immediately after my website was up and running is to do some line exchanges. I use simply linking.
What it boils down to is a central place where you can give and request reciprocal links. You have to setup a link are on your site and of course the first link would need to be Simply Linkings link, since the process is free. It is a pretty good system to get links to your site and you have the ability to choose who does and doesn't get a link.
Free Link Exchange - Find link partners fast and easily at SimplyLinking.com

Effective SEO Comes Cheap

Search engine optimization or SEO is the hottest way to drive targeted traffic to your website. Maximizing the benefits of a well-SEO'ed website will yield lots of earnings for the marketer. However, SEO-ing your site might cost you thousands of dollars if you are such a newbie on this field.

But to tell you the truth, you can essentially get information on low cost SEO anywhere in the Internet. But only several really show you how to work out an affordable search engine optimization endeavor. And those few that really inform include this article.

1. Link exchanges

One cheap SEO method that can get you best results is through link exchanges or linking to and from other web sites. Depending on the websites that you would like to exchange links with, this tool could even cost you nothing at all. Contact the author or owner of the web site you want to have a link exchange with. You will be surprised with the eventual spiking up of your page ranking using this means of getting your website optimized.

2. Write or acquire key word rich articles

Writing truly informative and keyword-rich articles is one surefire way to make your Internet business more visible than ever. It's either you write your own articles or you get them from article directories that allow you to post these articles on your website as long as you keep the resource box or the author's byline in tact. Just don't stuff your articles with keywords that even idiots would get bore of reading them. The readability and freshness of your articles will still be the basis of whether your writers will keep on coming back to your website or not.

3. Catchy Domain Name

What better will make your target visitors remember your website but with a very easy-to-recall domain name. Something sweet and short will prove to be very invaluable. Registering your domain name is not for free. But creativity is.

4. Organize your site navigation

Providing easy steps in navigating your site is one way to make your visitors become at ease with your site. This, in turn, will improve the flow of traffic to your website.

Low cost SEO is always evolving like any other approach in information technology. There are many methods that can very well land you on the top ten rankings of Google or on any other search engines. Some may cost a lot but there are methods that can give you the same results at a low price or you can even do on your own such as those mentioned above.

RSS Feeds

I have gone 3 days now without making a sale, I just expect too much. It gets so disappointing to check my stats and see the big $0.00, but you have to keep moving forward.
I have made some progress with my blog, I finally added the RSS Feed and you can now receive my feed or join my email list. I have been needing to do this for sometime nowand got a little push the other night. I am using FeedBurner, it seems to be a pretty common feed service.

If you are new to this like me here are the basics:

You probably have seen this three-letter acronym in the course of your internet surfing. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary; syndicating means republishing an article that comes from another source such as a website.

An RSS is a means of publicizing updates about websites. It may or may not include a summary and photos of the latest posting. But those that provide summaries (thus Rich Site Summary) allow users to skim through the article so that they could decide later on if they want to access the website source. The RSS feed usually contains the title of the update originating from the website. It is also usually the link to the website source.

What are the benefits of RSS?

RSS gives benefits to both readers (users) and web publishers.

1. It gives you the latest updates.
Whether it is about the weather, new music, software upgrade, local news, or a new posting from a rarely-updates site learn about the latest as soon as it comes out.

2. It saves on surfing time.
Since an RSS feed provides a summary of the related article, it saves the user’s time by helping s/he decide on which items to prioritize when reading or browsing the net.

3. It gives the power of subscription to the user.
Users are given a free-hand on which websites to subscribe in their RSS aggregators which they can change at any time they decide differently.

4. It lessens the clutter in your inbox.
Although your email address will be required to enjoy the services of online RSS aggregators, RSS does not use your email address to send the updates.

5. It is spam free.
Unlike email subscriptions, RSS does not make use of your email address to send updates thus your privacy is kept safe from spam mails.

6. Unsubscribing is hassle-free.
Unlike email subscriptions where the user is asked questions on why s/he is unsubscribing and then the user would be asked to confirm unsubscribing, all you have to do is to delete the RSS feed from your aggregator.

7. It can be used as an advertising or marketing tool.
Users who subscribe or syndicate product websites receive the latest news on products and services without the website sending spam mail. This is advantageous to both the web user and the website owner since advertising becomes targeted; those who are actually interested in their products are kept posted.

What are the drawbacks of RSS?

The disadvantages of RSS use are brought about by its being a new technology and some user-preference concerns.

1. Graphics and photos do not appear in all RSS feeds.
For conciseness and ease of publication, RSS feeds do not display the photos from the original site in announcing the update except for some web-based aggregators

2. The identity of the source website can be confusing.
Since RSS feeds do not display the actual URL or name of the website, it can sometimes get confusing on what feed a user is actually reading.

3. Publishers cannot determine how many users are subscribed to their feed and the frequency of their visits. Moreover, they would not know the reasons why users unsubscribe which could be important in improving their advertising.

4. RSS feeds create higher traffic and demands on the server.
Most readers still prefer the whole update over a brief summary of the entry, thus they still access the site.

RSS and Internet Marketing

The original idea of RSS came from Netscape, where their intention is to provide a means for users to customize their personal homepage to contain links to websites that interest them, similar to bookmarking websites.

The application of RSS to internet marketing was an unforeseen development to RSS technology developers. Since users are given the freedom to add RSS feeds to their aggregators, those who are interested in particular products and services available in the internet can now be notified real time. Marketing becomes more specific to interested people and not a hit-and-miss operation.

Those who intend to use RSS for marketing their products and services should consider linking up with email account providers, (e.g. Yahoo, MSN, Google mail); networking websites (e.g. Friendster, Multiply, My Space, Hi5); websites of newspapers and television network websites (e.g. New York Times, CNN) for medium to big-scale companies. Small-time industries can also look into networking websites as well as personal blog websites (e.g. Blogspot) and websites of clubs and organizations that would probably make use of their products or services e.g. a fishing supplies store can look for the website of their local fishing club for possible RSS marketing.

How to ......

A few weeks ago I participated in Mommyfest and blog party (which was alot of fun and helpful). During Mommyfest participated in a contest where I listened to a guest speaker interview and entered a comment. Well I ended up winning a prize. I won a free ebook from Just Add Sweat. I picked out an ebook on How to Start a Recipe Blog for fun and profit. I really couldn't be more happy with my choice. This book starts from the beginning of initial concept, to picking a niche topic, to setting up a blog and so on. It was really a great ebook and since that is my secret passion (well collecting cookbooks is), this is my next blog I hope to start getting under way. This book has really given me some good tips and ideas. This information also come with a blogging calendar with useful blogging ideas by month, an audio interview, resources for articles and artwork, and much more useful information.
If you have any interest in starting a recipe blog this is the place to go to get started, you will find a great resource to help you throughout the process. I would always be willing to help anyway I can along your journey too.
Again that link is How to start a recipe blog
